Mission Statement
The mission of the Nauvoo Public Library is to provide materials and services for community residents of all ages for personal enrichment, enjoyment and educational needs. The library is dedicated to providing practical access to all forms of media. Programs will be developed to stimulate children’s interest and appreciation for reading and learning.

Easter Movie at Grandpa John's Theatre!
Join the Nauvoo Public Library on April 8th at 2:00 PM at Grandpa John's Theatre for a free showing of the movie Peter Rabbit, rated PG. Free popcorn and soda as well! In Person Storytime! Storytime will now be held at city hall every Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:30! Hotspot Devices Now Available at Nauvoo Public Library! Nauvoo Public Library is excited to announce the addition of two hotspot devices to our collection! This means that you can now check out the internet to take home with you for a few days! Likewise the library has two Amazon Kindles available for checkout, which will allow patrons to check out free eBooks from the library system. Patrons must have a current library card in good standing to check out devices. Call the library at 217-453-2707 for more details or to get yourself on the hold list for these devices!
