The mission of the Nauvoo Public Library is to provide materials and services for community residents of all ages for personal enrichment, enjoyment and educational needs. The library is dedicated to providing practical access to all forms of media. Programs will be developed to stimulate children’s interest and appreciation for reading and learning.
Nauvoo Public Library is seeking a part-time library aide. This enthusiastic individual would be responsible for answering phone calls, assisting patrons, checking out/shelving books, and opening/closing the library. Previous library experience not needed. Hello, all! I am happy to announce that we now have two Kindle e-readers available for checkout here at the library! If you have been curious about checking out e-books but were unable, now is your chance! Ask about Kindle checkouts at the front desk. Must be 18 or older to check out a Kindle.
Nauvoo Public Library is currently in the process of putting together a cookbook to help raise funds for the library. If anyone wants to donate recipes to be included in the cookbook, please bring them to the library! Please provide your name somewhere on the recipe if you wish it to be included with your recipe in the cookbook.
